Walking Away/Pleased to Meet You Socks

A lacy clog sock pattern from Fiber Trend that was amended so that the pattern is on the instep instead. Although the pattern was written from sock weight yarn, I actually used 6 ply yarn to get the right tension

The pattern was easy to follow. Of the 3 possible styles, this one is the Reflections socks. I found that while I like the Jawoll Yarn, I didn't like spool of reinforcing thread, because I took it out of the skein and lost it before I got to the heels and toes. The colour is fabulous. As for the pattern, I think it would had been nicer if the designed did a cuff before launching off on the pattern. All the girls that joined me in the knit-along found that the sock was a bit like a tardis. It looked really small because of the ribbing, but it stretched and fitted perfectly. ...voila! ..

Project Notes

1. Adapting the pattern from clog sock to non-clog sock was easy to do.

2. Can you tell that I cheated when I ran out of wool on the toes? I used some Cygnet in a similar greeny/grey shade
