4 by 2 Ribbed Socks

Really a basic sock recipe. It's good for fair-isle striping socks because you have the stretchiness with the ribbing but a wide spand of stocking stitch which shows the patterning off nicely. Basic socks. Although not all that interesting to knit, it works up quickly
