Me

I love this pattern and have wanted to make it for ths longest time, but have been put off by the nupps. So I decided to make it, without the bobbly bits using some merino laceweight yarn that I had, doubled. The pattern wasn't that difficult to memorise and was a really fun and fast knit. It's easy to tell when youv're made a mistake and on 4mm needles it grew pretty quickly, even for a 'scarf-like' objects.

The only tricky bit was grafting the scallop-y edge. It's difficult maintain good tension over 101 stitches.

I used 4.5 hanks, could easily have done it with 4 skeins, but I got a bit carried away, cause it's hard to judge the length until it's blocked. I'm really satisfied with this project and I'm keeping it for me.

Time for the big stretch

Project Notes

1. Here's a close-up of the pattern on the body of the stole.

2. and the scalloped edging.

3.Doubling the yarn gives a mich denser fabric, see.. not fluttering in the breeze.

The artistic shot... madli, so long that she drags!
