Gardening Mitts

A fluffy, girlie pair of mitts that's probably useless for gardening.

Very easy and quick knit. One ball of angora is enough to make the mitts. The only changes that I had made was to make the finger section a little longer and to knit the mitts in the row to avoid sewing. The flowers added a very pretty touch. If you're feeling a bit miserly, buy some ribbon to finish off the mitts. You only need a couple of meters. I could had used the angora to do the flowers but decided to use the ribbon (because the angora is delicate and prone to snapping probably because I knit too tightly).

My sister chose the yarn and project. It's not what I would had chosen for her, so I was surprised, but pleasant so. These are super girlie and super warm, which is great to combat the heating bills. She plans to wear them while working on her computer.

Project Notes

1. I might had been a wee bit tired but I swear the instructions for the big and small flowers were identical.
