It's an easy pattern but you might find that eyelets uneven. I also tweaked the pattern adding a 2x1 rib and casting on doubled. I think that the socks look better with the ribbing. ...voila! ..



Project Notes

1. The original pattern was worked for a child. The pattern was upsized. To take into account the thinness of my yarn and the density desired, I casted on working with 72 stitches.

2. The yarn had a very sheepy smell and it was oiled on cone. I washed it twice using fairy liquid and euclan. It stills smells sheepy but less so than when I started. The colour also ran like mad. The whole basin turned pinky. The first sock took about 2 days and the second one took me nearly a month. Pretty sad state I'd say, if it wasn't for the knit-along, it might had ended up an orphan.
