I've tried a variety of lace, and ribs, looking for something that would make the most of this yarn and to minimize pooling. In the end, I went up a needle size and stuck to something simple. Simple is good, shows off the yarn, minimised pooling and was quick to knit.

Project Notes

1.The first sock went really slowly. I kept trying differnt things and ripping until I found something that worked. The second sock went really quickly. I was dying to know, would it pool or work out like the first sock. Even when I joined in the second ball, you can't tell, can you? The pooling was minimal at the gusset. I used 64 stitches for the cuff, leg and foot.

2. I carried the baby cable down the heel flap and combined it with the heel stitch. The heel flap was done on 31 stitches.
