A knit-along hosted by Eva and Polly.
All you need is a denim design and the will to knit something 20% longer than you would normally want to and you're good to go.
Here's a button
My poor meager efforts! Should you create a more inspired one, please let me know!
How to join in on the fun? 1. Pick a design from Rowan's Denim People that you'll like to knit.
2. Email Polly or Eva to tell us that you'll like to join along. Anyone can join in and you don't need to keep a blog to participate. I'll post all the finished projects photos when you're done. I want to join but ... 1. I don't knit very fast Don't worry. A knit-along isn't a race. We all work on similar projects and can help each other out if we have problems with the design or with fit. We're going to try and pace ourselves with about 1 ball per week. (Yes it's ok if you do more or less, no one is going to check orcomplain. It's definitely not cheating! By pacing it at one ball a week, most of the designs use 12-15 balls, so if we start in July, we can anticipate having it ready to wear in Sept-Oct. Which is perfect for most of the long sleeve designs. Should you like to work at a faster pace, that's fine too.
