Did anyone else notice how slow the post has been the in UK recently? Several international parcels that I sent prior to Christmas had only just arrived this past week. That's nearly 4 weeks for airmail....which I consider to be rather dismal service.
Parcels coming from abroad have been much better. My prize from the SS Knitalong arrived this week. (Yes, I won the december draw!) The yarn was dyed by Susan from Slackford Studio, it's the stalwart sock in Cardinal.
I had such a hard time choosing one skein, that I (ahem), treated myself to 2 other. (a skein of black cherry in the stalwart and a skein of denim in the bonny bfl)
Pretty gorgeous and definitely worth investigating, even though there weren't any cat treats in the parcel.
I've just noticed that Susan's got a sale on the Bonny BFL.....so if your sock stash has been depleted ....

While I feel I am patient in many other ways, slow post does get to me. I'm glad you are now enjoying these lovely skeins of yarn. I definitely need to investigate once my sock yarn stash reaches a state closer to depletion.
