I'm not sure what it means in English (babelfish translates it to 'Feminine point samples'), but I'm knitting it, in black too. The pattern is from Stephanie van der Linden's Socken aus aller Welt.
This sock is not looking too bad, but it's coming out a wee bit big, and I know that it's big because I don't have particularly narrow feet. It might tighten up in the wash though, Regia stretch does compact after a trip in the dryer (except I don't have a dryer)
See how pretty this stitch is?

It's taken me 2 weeks to finish the first sock, more due to lack of knitting time, than boredom or eye strain.
Am I the last person in the world to know that Knotions will no longer be publishing. It makes me terriby sad to see this magazine gone. (and I'm not just saying that because Jody published Andromeda). The Inside Loop also ceased publishing about 6 months ago... so that's 2 quality magazines in about 6 months time.
They were valuable and FREE resources. I loved browsing through them, seeing the wonderful designs and learning about new blogs (because a large number of the designers also have a blog presence). The work to put together a quarterly magazine is phenominal, so it's a wonder then, that these magazines existed at all, considering that this always seems like something in addition to, instead of instead of a day job.
The instructions for the september shawl (lacey lacey) are free and from ricolina (see comments), if you want to replicate it.

Your socks are gorgeous!
Posted by: monica at November 15, 2009 07:26 PMI love Stephanie van der Linden's patterns and yours looks like another nice one! Do you think that it is the yarn (stretch) you are using that is making it larger? I have some of the Regia Stretch in my stash and had thought, that when I use it, I would go down a size in needles.
Posted by: Rebecca at November 11, 2009 05:09 PMOh Polly I didn't know Knotions was no more - so you were not the last! How sad.
Love the sock.
Posted by: Helen at November 9, 2009 11:10 AMI like the stitch pattern too. It's so sad to know that Knotions will not be publishing again.
