I've never been much of a joiner for the mystery knit-alongs. I only joined in for the Semi-Solid Mystery knit-along after I saw the socks finished by the more intrepid. I don't like the anticipation of the next clue and find it difficult to select yarn without an idea as to the pattern. (Sorry, that's just me)

These socks are lovely though... so lovely that I dug out my regia silk. Now, I have to admit to not being a big fan of asymetrical socks. Imagine dark morning, tired, dripping wet and trembling out of the shower to get dressed in the cold.. get the picture? The last thing that I would need is the additional challenge of trying to put the right sock on the right foot.

Wow, those socks are AMAZING!

Posted by: Jacinta at July 24, 2009 06:54 AMI have the same feelings about Mystery alongs, but those are some sweet socks Polly.

Posted by: mrspao at July 23, 2009 08:27 PMGorgeous socks & I do like the asymatrical design. I think I will have the same problem when wearing the socks.
Posted by: Ann at July 23, 2009 01:27 AMThey're lovely! I've never done any symmetrical socks, either, but I am so bad at dressing myself I often walk out with clothes on back to front or inside out. I've even worn odd shoes!
