Little Socks for Little People

Just a few baby socks from the big bowl of left-overs

They worked up really quickly and I think that they look adorable.

I went for a slightly longer leg, intending them to be folder over. To make sure that the cast on edge was really loose, I cast on 25% more stitches and on the first row did *k2, p2tog, p*.

There were made with some left-over fleece artist

and these Steinbach Activ Wolle

Oh! They are both beautiful, I can't wait to see which pair is for Finnigan. Thank you again Polly, this was so sweet of you. I will be sure to post a picture of warm toasty little toes.

These look so warm! Perfect for toddlers feet in wintertime. It must be so diffcult to knit socks that small :-)

Kung Hei Fat Choy, Polly! Those socks are lovely. Do you know approximately how many grams does each take? I would love to make some with leftover yarn too.
