I got this gorgeous yarn off Ebay.

Good: The colour is Folly (which seems so appropriate for this purchase), and it's the most divine sage-y green. Rowan 4 ply soft... my favourite
Evil: I'm not supposed to be stashing yarn, so what the heck was I doing, searching for yarn on ebay?

Posted by: Jacinta at May 11, 2008 12:54 AMI know, but it is such nice yarn!
Posted by: Sarah at May 10, 2008 07:44 AMHmmm, reminds me of someone... Dou you listen to 'Stash and Burn' ? There was an interesting quote from the Yarn Harlot on the last issue : 'The question is not do you have too much stash, but do you you actually have enough ?'
I think it was very wise to purchase these because oh my, what a lovely colour !
So, don't stash it. Cast on for something immediately, that then becomes a wip and not stash, or even put one or two balls on book shelves or in bowls around the house. They then become a talking point, definitely not stash.
And how could something so beautiful ever be evil? Enjoy it.

Posted by: yuvee at May 9, 2008 11:58 PM*Searching* for yarn on eBay is harmless. It's the clicking "Buy It Now" that's the dangerous part. :-)
Posted by: Kate at May 9, 2008 09:44 PMStash = Good, not EVIL.
I'm always stalking a good bargain on ebay. I love 4 ply soft.
Enjoying yourself. Don't worry I said the other week that I wouldn't buy anymore until we go on holiday. I received 10 balls of Blue Faced Leicester, 10 of Suri Alpaca and 10 pure wool from DT Crafts all for dyeing. I have also ordered some other yarn too. I am good until I start looking.
