After the grey days of winter, I really welcome spring. The sky is clearer and bluer. Eventhough the UK has been hit with siberian temperatures (so cold that I have a fire lit in the sitting room, a pure luxury), the change is remarkable. I can live with the wind and cold....brrrrrrrr, if I get to wake in daylight and hear the occasional bird twittering.
So for spring, something springy. ( I rushed out to photograph this when the clouds broke, and it wasn't snowing, sleeting or raining today.)

Simple, pink and green... feels perfect for Easter.

Polly, would you mind terribly jumping over to Ravelry and taking a look at a question I just posted in the "Patterns" forum? As a rowanette and a UK resident, I have a feeling you know the answer to my little question. The thread is entitled "Decipher help needed with UK terms". I would have just emailed you directly but I couldn't get the email button to work for me on your main page. Thank you SO much for any help you can give me.
Ooooh! My favorite colors! So pretty.
