Sockapalooza Update
I'm head over heels in love with my beautiful sockapalooza socks. They are in a word .. gorgeous...no, they are gorgeous and perfect. Kristen did a bang up job. The fit is perfect, the stitches dense and regular. ... and the pattern?
Spearfish socks .. a pattern that I have loved and forgotten that I love but ravelry will put an end to that, cause I'm going to queue up all 200 or so projects that I want to knit ;-)!
Having never seen a sock monkey before, I have to admit that this little guy is really cute, even if he looks a wee bit worried...and cascade fixation.. yummy! Thanks Kristen! you're a great pal and I'm so lucky to have gotten you!
I'm also most please to note that my socks arrived earlier in the month to Liz. The recent spate of postal strikes in the UK has made mail go even slower than it usually does... and past experience with handing over something to the post office, now often fills me with dread.
