Message from Geek

Sorry for keeping you all in suspense, but ... the Geek has spoken.... (No, he's not dozing, he's staring into a computer screen .. by the pool.)

This has been really tricky - making me pick a winner from all those lovely wishes from all over the place - what a special birthday. Polly, you are still in lots of trouble and I have almost a whole year to plan and recruit help to seek revenge. You are probably relying on my lack of planning and memory to get you out of this - lets see!....

As for the winner - first I would like to pick on a couple of close seconds..

Thanks to Beth S for the Geek test - I took it. I did try and work out the scoring on each question and see what would make me a Geek and not a Dork - but it turns out that I am Joe Normal - and that can't be right!

Lipstickgeek - I liked the SQL very much but in fact it would have been more efficient code to have "INTEREST >= 1" rather than "> 0". However, is it wrong for me to find the email address arousing?

But - the *Winner* - has to be Phyllis Howe - She is dead right - I have the love of good women, the friendship of a great woman and the positive thoughts from every corner of the globe. But really - I WANT THAT RECIPE including the secret ingredient. I think it's only fair that this is shared with all of us.

Now, Greek, let's be good about tormenting each other on our birthdays .. and remember .. (1) you can't do that which I have done to you, it's got to be original (2) Your birthday is after mine ...
