It Takes Two

and thank goodness only 2, these fruity sleeves are finally done!

...voila! ..

Not one, but 2 sleeves

With the increasing and the decreasing that you get from bell sleeves, these sleeves not only used a lot of yarn but they took forever to knit. Yeah, I know not the best picture but a girl's got to gloat when the sleeves are done. Now all I have to do is start the front... of course, there is the issue of starting Bronte again...

what fun is life without a wee bit of temptation.

I think euonymus can kind of creep up and over things. The one I had in London was inching its way up the fence before we moved.

Would you mind dropping a line with details about this bell sleeved pattern? Last week, my mother-in-law was showing me her favorite-ever bell sleeved sweater she had made years back, but no longer can find the pattern, and at least the sleeves look right! Thanks.

You've probably already answered this, but I'm a fairly new reader and didn't catch it if you did, but what kind of yarn is that? I love the look. I can't wait to see the finished sweater!

that yarn looks downright yummy. I am thinking getting it in food related colors might be a bit of a bad idea :)

I am hoping that it is reasonably priced so I can load me up some once I get over there!

Looks like it's going to be a beautiful knit! Doesn't it give you a smug feeling knowing those sleeves are done too?

Those sleeves are gorgeous!

What happens in July that you wrote the date on your blog July 5, 2005?

I love the blue socks and the decsription of how you did it to use up yarn. Great idea! I'm trying to figure out how to make my son a pair of socks for hiking, but he's got size 15 feet, so not sure if it'll happen. I'm great at directions, but not at coming up with my own patterns.

Just wanted to let you know I enjoy your blog and laughed when I read the date. July will be here soon.

July 5, 2005? Ah! I see, pushing the knitting ahead of time? Nice work!
