Don't It Make You Feel Good

Just a quickie, partially because I don't have an awful lot to say tonight, partially because I want my Puzzle Shawl to stay on the front of my site for just a few days more.

I'm sorry that I didn't have more of the Purple ASC because so many of you had wanted it. I'll try to get more before the sales are over at the end of this month, so watch this space, OK?

Tonight's offerings:

Albany is a lovely mercerised ribbon yarn from Jaeger. It knits to a tension of 20x25 over 10cm x 10cm and has 105 m/50 gm. It's a superb merlot shade and I can't under stand why Jaeger would discontinue it. I have 2 packs if the same dyelot. They are £20 each.

and of course, more All Seasons Cotton. This time in a shade called Deep Marine. It's sort of a greeny blue, not at all navy-ish. A colour that is perfect for men, women and children. They are £15 each and both are in the same dyelot.

So just let me know if you're interested.

Hi Polly

I finished Whitelies Designs Bella Jumper using the Albany - exact tension, and the yarn is just wonderful for this pattern (once it's ironed). I'm so enamoured that I'm doing the unthinkable and knitting a second one in the bright turquoise Albany.

Dawn :) just signing off the computer for a week while I slum it in a beach hut with lots of knitting and probably lots of rain!

Polly, we had the most amazing wedding party for Fred and Molly. The bit in the registry office was hilarious as they both got the giggles. The Peace shawl was on her shoulders all day and into the evening, and received many fondles and much attention. We,and 150 other people, had an incredible day, ending with a ceilidh and then a big campfire after the bands and the man with the didgeridoo had quietened down and the children were tucked up in their tents.Photos will follow.

Hi Polly,

If the ASC in Deep Marine is stil available I'd love to take both packs off your hands! It's just the perfect colour!

Had to just have another peak at the puzzle shawl - so delicate and pretty.

Hi -

If its still available, I'd love the Jaeger Albany cotton -

Lucky you to have that utterly gorgeous wrap and the friend who made it, too.
