Climb Ev'ry Mountain

The peak experience sock is done.

Angel's Rest!.

The pattern is pretty stretchy but not as elastic as I would like from my socks. I prefer rib patterns. This pattern was very clever, because the wavy stripes effect just really compliments this yarn. I get all the motivation from knitting with a stripey yarn and none of the boredom from continuous stocking stitch. The colours, are really bright .. G.oing to need sunglasses if I'm ever to wear them!

There's only 64 stitches, so it went really fast. Back to the P2MU/WAS sock. Yes, I'm cheating on the second foot too.

Now *that's* a hot sock, and an interesting pattern even for other things. Lookin' great, Polly!

Fantastic socks, Polly. Just what we need to cheer us up on these cold, damp days, beautiful vibrant colours. They add warmth to the feet just by looking at them.

I'll have to scour my stash and see if I have the yarn to do it - would love to get some help with felting (or fulling or whatever).

I love their nuclear brightness! The red next to the blue looks so vibrant, even on the computer screen. Hope they keep your feet toasty warm. ;)

I love these socks. Bright colours are so much more interesting. Are you knitting anything but socks? Have you finished that Peace Shawl yet?
