Debbie Bliss Frilled Sleeve Cardigan
As suspected, I ran out of yarn. There was enough for the body and the sleeves, but not enough for the frills on the sleeve or the button band.

It's not the end of the world, hopefully, Sheelagh, will have a ball left in the same dyelot. I should had bought an extra ball weeks ago when I noticed the large numbers of knots. The last ball was perfect, not a single knot, so the quality needs a bit of improvement.
Daisy
So, guess what? My conscience is clear to start Daisy. Look at this lovely yarn... looks good enough to eat.

Kay - Lately, I've been a bit short of everything! I'm going to probably unravel the frilled sleeve cardigan. Why? bad karma... it needs to be reborn
Master Sissel - This grasshopper is worthy..not worthy! Only 2 booga bags?
Emma - I am having fun... does anyone else think, I have 14 balls of background colour and I've used 2 balls so I'm 1/7 of the way there? OK, I'm a geek.

Posted by: Kay at October 20, 2003 04:30 PMPolly--I can't believe that running short of yarn is happening to YOU OF ALL PEOPLE. There's something wrong with the worldwide karmic balance here. You are the person who always has a spare ball of the precise dye lot to give to somebody else who didn't buy enough of it in the first place!! There should always be extra yarn for you! You could frill it and buttonband it in a complementary or contrast colour. Maroon? Do not despair in any event. Do a displacement activity. That's the ticket. xox Kay
Posted by: Kay at October 20, 2003 04:27 PMDisciplined? Who? Me? The only things I`ve achieved over the weekend are two Booga J Kureyon bags (someone is going to get lucky for Christmas). I really needed to do something easy for a change. The yarn for Daisy looks lovely. Can I have a taste? Fleur is looking great too. I love the buttons.
