There never seems to be enough time in the day to do everything that I want to do. So, I burned the midnight oil to finish this last night.

The Interview
Thanks to Thos, Kristine, and Jen for being brave enough to be interviewed by me. I can't wait to see your answers. Anyone else brave enough to put themselves at my mercy? You can always blame Rene for winding me up! ;-)
Hi there,
New reader and love your blog! I am a Rowan fan and also Mission Falls Wool. I love the way the collar came out and would like to know how you worked it for a Gansey I am doing. Would you mind sharing any tips? Thanks so much.

Posted by: Valerie at September 2, 2003 11:32 PMI really like that wool/cotton - and have had good reports on its washing and endurance....That's a good colour for a boy, too.
Posted by: Jill at September 2, 2003 07:20 PMWow, Polly, that looks gorgeous! The scan really does show the stitches... nonetheless, I'm looking forward to pictures. Wonderful! And hey, I don't mind taking the blame. ;)
Posted by: Rene at September 2, 2003 01:08 PMThat's really lovely, Polly. The herringbone looks so crisp and the rolling collar is a lovely way to finish off the neck.
Hope you're pleased with it!
Totally fab !
Such even knitting as well.
It's so nice to see more of your knitting.Scans do show stitches well, don't they ?
Anyway,Herringbone is lovely.
that little glimpse is lovely - can't wait to see the whole thing! :)
Posted by: carolyn at September 1, 2003 11:47 PMThe sweater is gorgeous! Do I recognise a Rowan pattern? Beautiful work.
Posted by: Louise at September 1, 2003 10:28 PMPolly! Lovely, lovely. I know this is like asking Michelangelo how he did that ceiling, but how did you convert a Rowan Denim pattern to Wool Cotton? The gauge is all different, and the shrinkage difference . . . How'dja do it?
I am doing Jack (Rowan 30) for David in Wool Cotton with the pattern from Eddie (28) and flat out love the yarn.
